1ST ANNUAL 1778, FIGHT FOR FREEDOM SPONSORED BY BATTLE SCENE PRODUCTIONS

Posted by Battle Scene Productions at 04:32 PM on September 09, 2009 Comments comments (1)

The Battle Of Monmouth was fought in New Jersey in 1778.

Alex and Nick will be commemorating this two day battle on June 26th & 27th, 2010 at our Battle Scene Productions Studio which is located on a section of the battlefield and on the main battlefield where there will be a re enactment of the historical battle.

We will also be visiting a graveyard where many of the soldiers were buried at. The church which is on the cemetery was used as a hospital for the wounded soldiers. There was so much blood on the wood floors that the stains are still present today. The church covered the wood floors with rugs so it wouldn't upset the parishioners. We will attempt to have the church opened so we all can visit this historical site.

Saturday evening we will have dinner at the Battleground Country Club Restaurant.

The dates are set but everything else, including directions are in the preliminary phase so, the details will be worked out later.

So, who wants to come down? :-)
It will be nice to see a bunch of you guys in person.

Regards,
Nick & Alex

PEDRO,WWII Stories & its Aftermath Seen Through The Eyes of a Child

Posted by Battle Scene Productions at 06:54 PM on November 10, 2008 Comments comments (0)

We would like to introduce to you a wonderful Autobiography written by Peter (Pedro) Canton. He tells true stories from when he was a small child living in Germany with his family during and after World War Two.

The book will be on sale and sold on this web site for only $12.95 a copy plus $2.25 for shipping & handling in the USA. $8.40 s/h for Europe orders

I have read thirteen chapters from this book called "Pedro..." and I am really enjoying it. I also like the historical aspect of the book, learning things about the war in Germany that I never knew.

I highly recommend this book to all WWII enthusiasts of all ages.

Writer Peter Canton was nice enough to give us a copy of his book for a giveaway to our members. If you haven't signed up yet, please do so in order to have a chance to win these World War II stories seen through the eyes of a child named, Pedro.

We will have this book listed on this web site in the PROMOTIONS/MAILING LIST SECTION so you can purchase it.
Thanks
Regards
Nick
